8th September & my little girl turns 9. Suddenly that seems awfully grown up. Her plan for the day was to spend time as a family with a special menu for lunch (leek & potato soup - in this heat!).She received lots of crafty gifts so the afternoon was spent needle felting (quote: "oh, I've missed this so much"), coloring in and celebrating having lots of new creative stuff! Oh, and watching Mamma Mia on DVD.
We went out to a restaurant on the beach in the evening which was pleasant, then finished it off with a walk on the beach in the dark.
A simple enough day. Just spend time.
